In Spain, they really like to cook a tortilla.

It is prepared very quickly and from simple available products.

It’s a thick, flat omelet with potatoes. It is cut into pieces and eaten warm.

You can, like any omelet, eat it hot or almost cold.

Such an omelet is good to take with you to nature.

It will be a hearty snack. They can have a snack at lunchtime at work.

Wrap it with parchment paper and put it in a plastic food container for lunch.

Let’s list the products from which we will cook.

We take four eggs, 1 tablespoon of ordinary water, half a cup of any vegetable oil.

Take what you like. And we also need two small potatoes, which will need to be peeled and cut into small cubes, and even half of the average onion, which will need to be chopped finely.

One clove of garlic won’t hurt either. It can be passed through the press. Garlic will improve the taste and aroma.

Potatoes can be boiled in a uniform or grated on a coarse grater.

Also as an option, and fry the onion already.

The first thing to do is beat the eggs with water.

Preheat a frying pan with a thick bottom, for example, cast iron.

Send three tablespoons of vegetable oil there, spreading it all over the pan. Now fry the potatoes, onion and garlic, stirring.

With a slotted spoon, so that there is no excess oil, transfer the fried vegetables to the beaten eggs. They are already ready. It remains for the eggs to grab.

And you need to pour two more tablespoons of vegetable oil into the pan.

The pan should be hot, but to a certain extent. The butter should not burn, and the omelet should gradually seize not only externally, but also internally.

Pour eggs with vegetables into a prepared frying pan with a thick bottom and fry.

During the frying process, you need to stir the omelet, raking from the bottom and sides with a spatula so that it does not burn.

The moment has come when the eggs have completely hardened.

Now use the spatula to move the egg mass from the sides to the center. Tortilla cooking is coming to an end.

It remains to be gilded from below. We transfer it to a flat large dish according to the size of the frying pan, simply tilting the pan.

Add the remaining spoonful of vegetable oil to the pan and fry until golden brown and the top part.

It will now be at the bottom. After a couple of minutes, your tortilla will be ready, it will be completely ready.

Cut into portions and eat with ketchup.

In such an omelet, in the process of cooking, you can add squares of dried bread at the end.

It will also be delicious. Sprinkle with parsley, dill, pepper, pour mayonnaise -sour cream sauce, tomato sauce.

Eat with tomato juice.

Omelet goes well with green onion feathers. We will make a wonderful Spanish omelet.
