
Cucumbers in strong brine. Recipe for pickling cucumbers. We continue the heading “Roll without vinegar”.
The sorted cucumbers should be soaked for 6 hours in cold well water, changing the water as often as possible to remove the bitterness.
Tap water with chlorine will not work.
With a soft brush, go over the cucumbers well, wash in this way and put them tightly in sterile jars well-treated with soda.
Pour cold brine (for 10 liters of water 3 kg of salt).
Seal and store in the cellar.
Before eating, you will have to soak the cucumbers in several waters to get rid of excess salt.
This amount of salt does not allow the development of pathogenic microflora and cucumbers are well worth it.
