As it turned out, not all Ukrainian hostesses know how to cook their national dish, Ukrainian dumplings, correctly. We call shops, cafes, dance choral folk groups “Galushechki”, but we don’t know how to cook, this is a popular dish in Ukraine for devaluation. The neighbor cooked. The family members did not like them and did not cook them anymore. Let’s cook it so that you will certainly like it and everyone will recognize the real taste, and such that you cannot delay how to prepare it by the ears.

So let’s go. Put a chicken egg whipped with soda (0.5 teaspoon), salt (one teaspoon) and two tablespoons of melted butter in whey, yogurt, kefir or just water in the amount of one and a half cups.

Add flour as much as it takes.

Knead a thick dough and leave to rest for half an hour. Pinch off pieces of dough, slightly adjusting the shape and simmer in salted water or steam for about 7 minutes.

And for a couple a little longer.

Cook the chicken fillet in salted water for 20-30 minutes. When cooled, cut into small pieces.

Transfer the finished dumplings to a bowl of butter.

This will prevent them from sticking together. Finely chop the onion, grate the carrot. Fry in vegetable oil. Send dumplings, meat, frying, pepper, put a bay leaf and pour broth into a Ukrainian clay pot.

Close the pot with a lid and simmer in the oven for about 30 minutes. Let all the ingredients, in fact, ready-made, become friends, exchange taste, smell, become a single dish, complementing each other. Serve with a sprinkle of herbs. Eat deliciously washed down with tomato juice or fermented baked milk with fresh salad. Now our households will definitely not be wry and will ask to cook it next time, and they will also want additives. Bon Appetit!
